World Environment Day (WED) which is celebrated on June 5 each year is an international platform for the organization of public awareness programs celebrated by over 100 countries around the world. It was held by the United Nations as the beginning of the 1972 Stockholm Conference to raise public awareness and action towards environmental conservation. It also serves as a special day for the community to do something positive for the environment and in turn inspire others to have a higher positive impact overall. Various environmental -related activities from various parties were organized in conjunction with World Environment Day.
