BISMILLAHIRAHMANIRAHIM

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh and Salam 1Malaysia.

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar Walillah Hil Hamd.

Alhamdulillah, let us express our gratitude to Allah SWT because with His guidance and permission once again this year we can complete our fasting and celebrate the glorious Aidilfitri in a harmonious and prosperous atmosphere. Wherever Muslims are, they will surely feel the vibration of takbir touching the soul glorifying the greatness of God. On the eve of the glorious Syawal this year, I would like to record my Happy Hari Raya Aidilfitri greetings to the staff of the Department of Environment Malaysia and to all Muslims in Malaysia. Aidilfitri is the day we celebrate victory and as a reward to those who are patient and obedient in worship during their stay in the madrasah of Ramadan.

YBhg Datin/sir/madam,

In this message, I would once again like to take this opportunity to call on us to work as a team. In order to meet the aspirations of the people who want the best from the government, we must provide services that go beyond the norm in line with the wants and demands of the people. In the meantime I have set the direction  (The Way Forward)  in leading this organization. The goal is  self -regulation ; needs to be appreciated by all DOE staff to ensure its orderly and effective implementation. One of the tools to achieve  self-regulation status  is  environmental mainstreaming. It means that the importance of the environment is absorbed, applied, and integrated in all levels of management and implementation of a project, program, or manufacturing activity. When this happens, the environmental aspect will no longer be ignored, but will be taken into account in every decision and action that will be taken in an organization, premise or project. In the organization, not only the environmental aspect is given priority at the policy level but it will also be translated into the management level and daily practice. Environmental mainstreaming  is a strategic tool to lead towards and achieve a community state that controls their actions ( self regulation). It is my great hope that all DOE staff can appreciate, support and move this approach holistically.

YBhg Datin/sir/madam,

Before the office is closed in conjunction with this festive holiday, the office security officer is asked to take security control measures such as closing the electricity supply switch and water pipes and ensuring that the doors / grilles are locked. Inform the building security for regular monitoring. This is to prevent unwanted incidents. Meanwhile, the staff of the Department of Environment Malaysia who are on duty on Hari Raya, please continue to persevere in carrying out the responsibilities entrusted to you with full dedication and sincerity.

As we rejoice in the feast, continue the tradition of pilgrimage that has always been our practice. Break down the ‘walls of prejudice’ and open as wide as the doors of our homes and the doors of our hearts to receive visits from friends from various backgrounds regardless of age, rank and race. Take the opportunity to meet in this blessed month as a field to forgive each other. In fact I have always believed we have all become one family that always takes care of the interests, welfare and needs of other families. Insya Allah, with the support of all the staff of the Department of Environment Malaysia, I hope that the coming Syawal will be the starting line for greater success.

To all members of the Department of Environment Malaysia who will return to their hometowns for Hari Raya, plan your trip well and make sure to check the vehicle before starting the journey. Obey traffic laws, drive carefully and be alert to avoid unwanted things happening. Don’t make yourself and family a part of road accident statistics. May we all reach our respective destinations safely and return safely to our place of duty.

On this occasion, I apologize and apologize to all members of the Department of Environment Malaysia during the period leading this Department. I would also like to take this opportunity to inform me and my family that God willing, I will be leaving for the Holy Land, Mecca to perform the Hajj, in mid -August and pray that Allah SWT facilitates all these matters.

Finally, Happy Hari Raya Aidilfitri 1437 Hijri. Sorry outwardly and inwardly.

(DATO ‘DR AHMAD KAMARULNAJUIB BIN CHE IBRAHIM)
