Rainfall conditions in one or two places especially in the burning areas have resulted in improved air quality in the affected areas
and no unhealthy API readings have been recorded so far.
However, DOE has detected a forest fire that occurred in Rompin, Pahang on March 2, 2021 and extinguishing actions are underway. This situation did not affect the API readings in the area close to the air monitoring station in Rompin.
